Email in TaxDome, explained
Email in TaxDome is a secure integrated feature that allows to send messages from your email account and to view correspondence from your clients right on your TaxDome portal.
To send emails from TaxDome, each team member must sync their current email account with TaxDome .
Once all team members have synced their email accounts, all client correspondence will be automatically gathered in one centralized location within each client’s profile. This means that regardless of which employee communicates with a client, every email exchange will be accessible through the client-specific inbox inside that client’s profile.
This centralized system ensures complete visibility of all client communications across your entire team.

After synchronization, only conversations with your clients from the TaxDome contact list will be transferred to the TaxDome inbox. The other emails from employees’ mailboxes will not be accessible from the portal.
Access to emails
Email can be sent by:
- a firm owner;
- a firm admin;
- a team member with access rights to view all accounts or assigned to the account .

Whenever a client sends a new email to your firm or replies to an existing email thread, team members who have access to their account will receive a notification in their Inbox+ . To view the most recent email and respond to it, click Go to….
You can change your notification preferences whenever you need to.
Send emails: individually and in bulk
TaxDome gives flexibility and choice: you can email an individual client or many clients at once using bulk sending . You can create email content from scratch or use email templates applying shortcodes to personalize messages.
Additionally, you can schedule an email to be sent at a future date.
Automate processes with emails
Emails are among the most common actions in the accounting industry. You can easily automate emails with TaxDome . For example, in the 1040 (Tax return) process, automated email sending is used many times for the following actions:
