My custom domain is no longer working
If you’ve set up a custom domain, but it suddenly stops working, it’s likely because the registrar hasn’t confirmed that the DNS is working. It happens occasionally. Check to see if your CNAME works here, then contact your registrar if it doesn’t.
When you create a CNAME with your registrar and add it as your custom domain in your TaxDome account, we check that it works and tell you when it’s ready. Then we continuously check with the registrar that the CNAME is still valid. If we don’t get an answer from your DNS provider, we check three more times.
If the CNAME is no longer valid, we remove it on the TaxDome side, so it stops working. When this occurs, TaxDome sends a system notification to the firm owner’s email.
The website builder doesn’t open
If you can’t access the website builder, it might be because you’re using your browser in Incognito mode. Access your Chrome Settings, go to Privacy and security, toggle on Allow all cookies, then refresh the website builder page.
I haven't paid for my custom domain. Will I be able to access TaxDome?
Yes. Access it by typing your firm URL into the browser address bar.
